Rodgers misses practice Wednesday, Zimmer expects to see him Sunday

Knowing coach Mike Zimmer, I'd expect plenty of pressure on Rodgers. Asked at his locker if it was accurate to say his injury was a sprained knee, Rodgers said, "Sure. say sprained knee".

Aaron Rodgers called his injury a "sprained knee".

Packers coach Mike McCarthy echoed his quarterback's "one day at a time" sentiment during his own press conference on Wednesday. "We'll give him the whole week to get ready".

Rodgers has been saying all week that he wants to play and the thought of not playing hasn't really crossed his mind.

Even if he doesn't practice this week, Rodgers could still play.

SC won’t evacuate prison for Hurricane Florence
Scientists have filmed an astonishing video of the interior of Hurricane Florence , as the storm bears down on North and SC . There are now two more tropical storms in the Atlantic - Joyce and Isaac - and a category 1 hurricane named Helen.

Rodgers himself seemed confident he would be able to beat the injury, and said it would take something a lot more serious to keep him off the field.

The 34-year-old had been working with a rehab group rather than the rest of the offensive line on Wednesday, fuelling speculation that he would not be included in the team.

If Rodgers does play, it would be his first game against the Vikings since the two-time MVP broke his right collarbone following a hit from Minnesota linebacker Anthony Barr on October 15.

After all, it was Vikings Pro Bowl linebacker Anthony Barr who broke Rodgers' collarbone last season.

"We know he's playing", Vikings defensive end Everson Griffen said. He said feel "a little better every day". The quarterback is now dealing with the recovery process after battling through the injury in Week 1.
