However, Manziel has suffered a bit of a medical scare after he was hospitalized on Monday morning due to a change in his medication that he takes to treat his bipolar disorder, according to TMZ Sports. Prior to the medical set back it seemed that Manziel was making progress to at least getting an oppurtunity somewhere, whether that be in the National Football League or in Canada, which he has stated is a possibility. He's also opened up regarding his battle with bipolar disorder and past substance abuse issues. That's at least what his camp is claiming. But it seems like an adjustment to his medication is to blame for this reaction.

Manziel, via Instagram, released a statement on the matter. He was first there to play in a golf tournament which was hosted by his former college teammate and current Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans.

Denise Michaels, a Manziel spokesperson, told ESPN's Kevin Seifert on Tuesday that her client was "fine".
